New video! Please keep in mind “Abby” is bare foot in this video and she
stops will show it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jshS_fyXcE0 This
classy mare is well broke and started in the bridle. She has had lots of
time in the saddle from arena work to some ranch work she is as handy as
they come. I feel with a couple of months of good consistence riding this
mare will be ready to show in reining and with more time on cattle she will
be hard to beat. She has a good solid foundation in all maneuvers. She
just needs to be fine tuned now. She could really be great at whatever a
rider would like to do...even English! She is a very balanced mare with a
pretty, eye-catching way of moving. She is very easy to train and work
around. She is a pleaser! She is very, very cowy, but I would say she is
still green on cattle. She lopes off nice, starting to spin nicely and very
catty. This mare was stopping 5 to 7 feet in sliders. Very soft in the face
and sides. I'm low on time so she is for sale. She would be a great mare
for anyone to show. She would also be a good mare for a youth looking to
move up in the show pen. Might also be a good mounted shooting horse.
She is an own daughter of NRCHA World Champion Doc At Night out of a
NRHA money earning Just Plain Colonel mare! Stays black, good to shoe,
bath, clip, walks on the hot walker, ties, loads, very easy to work with. This
mare has a very mild clubbed foot. She need nothing special and holds a
shoe just fine.
